Sidari has its fair share of sandy offerings. Close to the centre you’ll find the resort’s main Blue Flag stretch which comes with warm shallow waters, perfect for mini swimmers. There’s also an overload of watersports on this shore, so if lazing on the sand gets monotonous, you can always try your hand at diving or even parasailing. Those who want to explore further are bound to stumble across its isolated coves. Tucked away from the main drag is the idyllic Drasti Beach. This stunning spot may not be as easy to locate as Sidari’s other shores, but it will be worth it when you don’t have to share the sand with dozens of tourists. But you can’t come all the way to this Greek hotspot without stepping foot on Canal D’Amour Beach, or as it is better known ‘Channel of Love’. This interesting rock formation created naturally by erosion is shrouded in myth. Legend has it, couples who swim through the channel will have everlasting love.

Whether you’re looking for lively nights on the town, exhilarating watersports or spectacular beach sunsets, from morning to night there’s always something going on in Sidari. After visiting its choice of sand spots, there’s no better place to cool off than the waterpark.

Dance the night away in Sidari’s bars: Sidari may not have the same party credentials as Kavos, but there’s plenty of reasons to head out after sunset. With an endless stream of drinking spots, holidaymakers are encouraged to stay out late with bars and clubs staying open well past midnight. From traditional Greek nights, to British-style pubs and karaoke bars alongside lively nightclubs, there’s a real mix of evening events no matter what you’re after. Hardcore partiers will be delighted with Caesars, as the resort’s main party venue, this open-air setting plays music until 8am.

Make a splash at the waterpark: This is a must if you’re holidaying with kids in tow. Despite being attached to a hotel, non-guests can enter at a small fee. It may not be the biggest aqua park on the island, but with six slides and three pools there’s plenty of fun to be had. Once you’ve tested out all the slides, grab a dingy and take a relaxing trip down the lazy river or simply secure a lounger in the sun and kick back while your little ones hit the water. Small children can also make use of a playground and garden when they’ve finished splashing around.
