Things to do in Costa Calma

There’s plenty to do in Costa Calma, although most tourists prefer to spend their time lounging on the beach. Aside from the Spanish cuisine and cocktails, many holiday goers prefer to head out on a day trip at least once.

Oasis Park Fuerteventura: Oasis Park is predominantly a wildlife centre, which allows visitors to have hands-on encounters with animals, with a number of shows throughout the day. The park houses an assortment of animals, including flamingos, alligators and sea lions. It remains a popular tourist spot, with plenty of restaurants and activities on site.

African Market: In a bid to find something a little bit different, it could be worth having a look at the African market. With Costa Calma being so near to Africa, it’s the town’s way of bringing in a different culture. It’s close to the city centre, and is filled with a number of different food, drinks and items – and it often impresses tourists to see the variety in products. With the market so easily accessible, it’s often flooded with tourists, and it’s been highly recommended, particularly if you’re after a bargain.
