Head to Mykonos Town for the day: Known as one of the best shopping stops in Greece and home to some of the finest Cycladic architecture, there’s no better way to discover the town than walking its slender maze-like streets. Known as the ‘Island of the Winds’ look out for its collection of windmills which decorate the terrain and offer amazing views of the island. The charming area Little Venice is one of the town’s most picturesque spots. If you’re wondering where its name comes from, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Italy when you see its old fishing houses which sit hanging over the waterfront. The spot is also home to its very own mascot Petros the Pelican, so don’t be surprised if you see people taking photographs with him as he roams the streets.
