The Czech Republic is located in central Europe and despite its diminutive size, it boasts a great profusion of stunning attractions – both natural and man made. The Czech Republic is a stunning country with a rich and varied landscape of forests, mountains and lakes peppered with the odd medieval castle or ancient village. Since its dramatic reemergence on the tourist map after the iron curtain came down, it has become primarily associated with its stunning capital city and its fantastic (and cheap) local beers. There is however much more to the Czech Republic. You could explore the ancient Moravian capital of Brno or any of its many other historic cities. The Czech Republic also offers a rich and distinctive cuisine with excellent soups and stews as well as many delicious meat and fish dishes and a great selection of local wines.
